High quality of food and generous portions made for a fantastic lunch experience, coupled with the gorgeous river side garden and views. Prices are nearly double regular restaurants in the area but very affordable still by western wallets. Highly recommend for a romantic secluded lunch”

“It was a magical night on the river with a private chef. 9 courses were made in front of you with local ingredients. We arrived in the round boat and floated up to restaurant. The staff were kind and so attentive. It was a social evening of delicious local food.”

“Anyone who knows me would explain that I'm probably one of the least romantic people they know. Well, perhaps a leopard can change its spots. The Field offers a lovely Bamboo raft dinner, floating in the middle of the adjacent river, and catered by a private chef and server. The cost isn't cheap (even by European standards) but the quality is high and the experience is magical (especially under a full moon which we were blessed with). I'm afraid that I can't confirm the actual costs as our meal was costed as part of a larger package. Our menu was Moringa salad with shrimp, Prawn balls with crispy green rice flakes, tastes of BBQ prawn, fish, beef and pork, Roasted duck with mushrooms in pepper sauce with bok choy and fried rice. All finished off with mango & banana roll. If money isn't a concern then the experience is truly wonderful.”
